Fremont, Nebraska

A Woodcliff Veterans Group has recently been formed.  Veterans, their spouses, their children or anyone who supports veterans is invited to join.  We will meet once a month at the Woodcliff Restaurant, generally at 5:00pm on a Thursday.  This is an open forum and we'd encourage any resident to attend.

The purpose of establishing a Woodcliff Lakes Veteran's group is to preserve, promote and strengthen comradeship of veterans, their spouses, and children of veterans; to assist in worthy cause of our community by perpetuating the core values of service.

We will actively engage in and support other organizations with initiatives that affect the overall well-being and benefit of veterans and community.

Our first initiative is to create an Avenue of Flags at the entrance to Woodcliff.  This very special Avenue of Flags project is slated for 2019 and will line the hill of County Road W coming down into Woodcliff.  RePlant Woodcliff is parterning with the Veterans Club to direct flag project donations through RePlant, which is a 501c3 non-profit organization allowing donors a tax benefit.

Donors can dedicate a 4X6 flag with a pole and plaque commemorating their favorite veteran to be displayed on special holidays and events.  Cost of the completed flag is $220.  Checks can be made out to RePlant Woodcliff and mailed to
